A Wehrmacht Heer (Army) Issue Narvik Campaign Shield Hold re-classified from Storeman T &Constructed of stamped cupal; the shield featuring a national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika; inscribed Narvik in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propellor (representing the Luftwaffe) on the obverse; with its wool backer (note the extensive mothing); with its metal backing plate and all four
