Measuring 10' x 8' x 5' the Keg is marked on one end with a series of 'TH' stamps. On the other end there is a stamping of a 'Fleur de Lis? over 'A 1' over '97'. On the top center where the stopper is supposed to be located, now missing, is a silver plaque engraved as follows: 'French Naval
