Liriope minor Gotemba Gold Southern Europe starting for us in mid-MayLiriope minor 'Gotemba Gold' is a splendid golden leaf form of the dwarf Liriope minor, native to China, Korea, Japan, Manchuria, and Taiwan. Our start was shared by Georgia plantsman Ozzie Johnson, who brought this back from Japan's Gotemba Nursery. In good soil, this dwarf spreading groundcover forms a 3" tall x 4' wide mat in 4 years. While Liriope minor grows in both shade and sun, the color is much more vivid in at least a half day of sun. Watch
