Austria-Hungary, Kingdom. An Order of St. Stephen of Hungary, Commander Cross, by C. F. Rothe, c.1980s Auction accompanied by a period neck(Kniglich ungarischer St. Stephans Orden). Instituted May 5th, 1764. The cross is constructed of silver gilt with green enameled arms, on a fixed roop and partially hollow royal crown for suspension from its period original neck ribbon, unmarked but displaying the typical craftsmanship characteristics of Rothe of Vienna, measuring 41. 5 mm (w) x 42. 4 mm (l) not including the crown suspension, a good quality post 1945 manufacture example in near mint
