with WEST MIDLANDS / POLICE in an enameled circle

and prepared for the move to New Georgia and the advance up the Solomons chain

though the casing does appear to have suffered prolonged exposure to the elements and degradation can be seen towards the mouth of the casing where it meets the projectile
